• On Col des Ares multiple touristic routes join together;
  GR78 and the route to Compostella (long distance walks)
  Startingpoint of ATB-routes and a well known mountaintop (Col) of the ""Tour de France"" for racing cyclist.
  D618 (route des Cols des Pyrenees), the classic and beloved route for motorcycles and oldsmobiles which runs from east to west (trans pyrenees route).
  At a 15 minutes walk you'll find the little natural lake of Saint Pé d'Ardet, in which in summertime a lot of swimming takes place.

History Pyrenees Emotions

Pyrenees Emotions is situated in building with a lot of character. This building once served as a place to change horses, as a nunnery and as a youth hostel. A number of nearly 100 years old postcards are shown hereafter.
